CODEP

Haiti Fund, Inc. is dedicated to the work in the country of Haiti known as the Comprehensive Development Project (CODEP). CODEP is the primary work and ministry of Haiti Fund, Inc. We are seeking to serve Jesus Christ under a covenant between the Episcopal Church of Haiti and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

CODEP has several efforts which include watershed rehabilitation, economic development, education programs, and health initiatives all of which are ecumenical in nature and available to residents. In addition, we have a support facility at L’Acul that serves not only as the headquarters for the work of CODEP, but also as the residence for missionaries and as a guest house for visiting groups. Our Vision is of a land of plenty in the mountains of Haiti where the people live in peace and have embraced a plan to restore God’s creation. In this place the residents enjoy good health, quality education and economic stability so that they can live together as a thriving community of God’s children.

Our Mission is to cooperate with and assist the people of rural Haiti by initiating, funding, administering, and sustaining development programs aimed at increasing self-sufficiency.
